The Eve Experience : A female Inspired Resaturant in Lagos (Review)

o

I finally put up my first restaurant review after months of contemplation ( this thought was first initiated after the bloggers cookout hosted by Samantha's Bistro HERE )  on starting a restaurant review / hotel exploration  section of the blog.

I came across the eve restuarant (a female inspired restaurant) through a friend who wanted us to hangout there for dinner and karoke saying it's the hub for female entrepreneurs, and a lifestyle platform created to enhance  networking, business development via the female centric events and workshops at the resturant.

The eve resturant is located at 234B Areola Odeku street, Victoria Island, Lagos (Same compound as Escape night club).

Walking into the Eve resturant, for the first time was like  walking into a sensuous haven . The ambience was cozy and warm with good aesthetics, the red and black decor gave it a romantic setting . I also like the fact that the resturant is female inspired with empowering words and  pictures of women in various spheres of life who have made their mark incorporated into its decor.

After we settled in and looked through the menu which had an array of intercontinental and local dishes, i  decided that i wanted something light, so i ordered for the club sandwich with a side of fries (N2500) and for my drink I opted for the Mojito cocktail (N3000) which was not a bad choice because it's one of the best cocktails I have had in a long while.  The food was quite tasty, I  liked how cripsy the fries were and the sauce was just perfect.  On pricing, the food is a little bit affordable for a place situated in Victoria Island .

The customer service was not really prompt and it took quite some time to deliver meals or even get the bill paid but the yummy and tasty food plus ambience pretty much made up for that.

RATING : 7/10 and yes I would definitely visit again because of the ambience.

If you are looking for a nice place to hang out with friends (you guys could also do karoke) or if you want a place for a cozy and intimate date, or brunch then I recommend The Eve Resturant; even  though the ambience is geared towards the female folk , there is a pool table so that guys don't feel out of place in the setting.
