How To Style The Beret Fashion Trend The Casual -Chic Way!

The beret trend is everywhere and it's a major must-have accessory this season. I remember back then in high school, the beret was part of my school uniform and fast forward to 2018, the beret trend came back with a bang! Berets are now a major trend, an head accessory on every style icon.


History says Paris is the birth place of berets and that's why they have the parisienne artist kind of look and character. Berets come in different textures and colours, some are made from the thickest wool, while some are made from pure leather or faux leather , it could also be plain or beaded. However, whether you want a casual, sexy, or chic look, the beret is transitional and can go with everything. whatever type of beret you choose to wear, learn how to pull off the beret without looking cheesy.


The easiest way to rock the beret trend is by styling  it in a casual - chic way. You can never go wrong with a colourful beret paired with a slogan t-shirt and jeans.  I styled my beret look with a red beret, statement bag, slogan tee, high - waisted frayed hem jeans and a pair of heels which took my casual outfit from 1-100 real quick .

What better way to enjoy the weekend than to go to a cookout party with fellow bloggers, networking, cooking and having the best afternoon. My Lagos Waka || A tour of Lekki Arts Market and Nike Art Gallery ( Tips, Hacks and market finds)

Touring the Lekki Arts and Crafts  Market I finally got around organizing my first (group) tour  of the tour series called THE LAGOS WAKA  and on my tour list , the lekki arts and craft market was the first but i decided to add Nike Art Gallery ( I have been there thrice ) on this tour since it was on the same axis  as the art and Crafts Market.  The funny thing about this trip was that just like the normal African fashion, 5 people indicated interest in going on this tour and on the day of the tour trip only Royalbiba of     www.royalbiba.com    showed up while others came up with excuses. EVENT || CREATIVITY AT SAO AND THE MUSE 3

Recently I attended the Sao and the muse 3 event and all i can say is i was awed by the level of creativity showcased by young Nigerian artists who spend time in their own unique ways , creating art in it's many forms. Sao and the muse is an annual art event , a creative's haven with diverse medium and bodies of work . The event is currently in it's third year, and it was held from August 3 - 5th , at  Sao cafe, Lagos. It was my first time attending and I would say it's different from other art exhibitions I have been to. There was a relaxed atmosphere enabling guests not to only see art but engage with it.
